You Are My Best Mom Ever!

Lila has candy. Mommy doesn't have to do anything, and we have to do the dishes. We got Mommy some flowers. Me-mommy doesn't have to do anything. Me-mommy mommy-me mommy-me has a little and has a little. We are thankful that we have nice body. And Mommy has nice hair. We went to church and Emma Lee and Bob gave me some dirt and Emma Lee gave me some seeds to put in the hole in the dirt. And Bob gave me some dirt so that Emma Lee could give me some seeds, so that I could put them in the hole in the dirt. I want my mom to be happy. I love you and I ate my orange. And Mommy and Daddy love Lila, and Abby, and Zack. I will go and leave the forest. And Mommy is a good mom and she has lots of parts of her body. You are a very good mom. I love you so much that I wanted to get a swimming pool. And you are a good mom. I simply know that you are my mom. I love you, you are my good mom. Home is where the heart is. Thank you, I love you, I love you, you are my light mom. You are my love it, light, burned mom. My mom is a good mom and I love her so.

[This part is sung in verse:]
"I love you and I would love you if you were my mom, and you would go to bed and has gone to bed, and has gone to bed, and in love it the momma, you love it in the the tomma, you love it in my comma, you love it in my comma. You are my besssssst mom eeeeeever!"

Best mom ever is the last part. You think what I think. Mommy thinks what I think. And Abby and Zack love me so much that they want to play with me if I am in the bedroom. That is why Mommy wants me to go out of the room sometimes.

I told Lila I wanted her to tell me what to write in a blog post for Mom. I told to pretend she was writing a letter about her mom that she wanted everybody to read. This is what she said to me. My only input was the occasional, "Is there anything else you want me to write?" I love her explanation of why she can't be in the room when Abby and Zack are being put to bed.

Lila is quite the author. I love her explanation of why she has to leave the bedroom sometimes. Happy Mother's Day Emily!

That's hilarious! I love the rhyming in her song, and the fact that she wanted to get you a swimming pool. And she's definitely getting something out of her Sunbeam class...cute little Lila!

ha ha. Well there's nothing that can make you feel like you're a good mom like the song of a three year old, I guess. Man, I love my Lila Bean!! (Who is currently singing me another version of the first song about "home is where the heaaarrrrt is!") And I wish you all could have seen the HUGE grin on her face when I realized and asked her if SHE had done a post about me!!

Good work, Lila. I spent the day teaching kids the "Home Is Where the Heart Is" song, and I hope they are now singing it to their mothers like you are.

Very clever, Johnny.

so so cute. What an oldie that Lila is. So smart and sweet to post about her best mom ever. Those pics are so cute also.

I wish that were the only requirement to be a good mom were to "have all the parts of our body" and to "have good hair". That might mean I was a good mommy too. Lila, you did a great post and I wish I could have heard your sweet voice singing that song. I love and miss you. Let me know how your flower grows?

Wow at first I was really confused and thought you had lost it. Then after reading it a little more I thought well maybe this is from Johnny and he has had a long day, and by the end I figured it out and loved it. Lila is amazing and I only wish we could see her and the rest of you more. Happy mom day em- your are one of the best!!
Love you- and Johnny that was a great idea!!
